Hi! I’m Sai and I am a second-year medical student at Emmanuel College, Cambridge.
I achieved 4 A*s at A Level in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths, along with an A* in my Biology and Art-focused EPQ whilst studying at St Paul’s School. In my GCSEs I attained 10 9s . Over the past four years, I’ve tutored students from KS2 through to A Level, as well as supporting applicants with UCAT and medicine interview preparation.
I take an engaging, question-focused approach to teaching, keeping sessions active while making sure students never feel rushed. My patient, friendly manner helps students build confidence and feel comfortable asking questions.
Outside of my studies, I’m very sporty, representing Cambridge University in various cross-country and athletics competitions, as well as being a keen cricketer.
i! I’m Damian and I study Philosophy and Politics at Durham university. At A level, I achieved A*A*AA in Polish, my Media-focused EPQ, Media Studies and Religious Studies.
My primary goal in tutoring is to help students find their own path to academic confidence. Having attended a state school myself, I understand firsthand that navigating heavy exam workloads can feel daunting, but I also know that consistency and the right support can make a massive difference toward a student’s future.
Achieving my strong A level results showed me that success comes down to breaking big concepts into manageable steps, mastering exam techniques, and, most importantly, maintaining consistency – skills I am eager to share with my students.
I firmly believe that the key to academic success is twofold: first, learning to love what you study, and second, maintaining a healthy balance between your studies and your life.
This approach allows students to excel without feeling constantly confined to their desks.
My ultimate goal is to ensure that every student performs well in their exams, enjoys their school years, and realizes that the process of gathering knowledge is one of life’s most rewarding virtues.
Outside of academia, I have a diverse range of interests, including motorbikes, filmmaking, and mechanics.
Hi! My name is Areg. I’m currently a 2nd-year student reading Mathematics at Emmanuel College, Cambridge. I achieved A*A*A*A in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in my last year of school; and had achieved an A in A-level Mathematics in Year 10 through self teaching.
I also have extensive experience with the TMUA and especially the STEP exams, for which I received the “Very Good” grade.
In Upper 6th Form I was both an assistant teacher for Further Mathematics and taught the Further Mechanics module independently. At Cambridge I am president of the Emmanuel Mathematical Society and we hold weekly study sessions where we discuss difficult ideas and teach them to each other, helping me further develop my current teaching skills.
Hi! I’m Aaron and I am a 2nd year Medical student @ Imperial College.
Having achieved A*A*A*A* in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Spanish A level, I am confident that I can help students of all abilities progress in their studies and meet their goals.
I believe that the best learning occurs when working from basic principles and focusing on addressing weaknesses, which is difficult to achieve in a large classroom environment. I am also very open to helping aspiring medical students with all aspects of the application process including UCAT (where I scored in the 96th percentile) , MMI interviews and personal statements. I obtained all 4 of my medical school offers and I am confident I can help you do the same Having successfully tutored previous students who went on to study medicine at BSMS, Bart’s and Southampton I am sure that I can optimise your chances of getting into medical school.
Hello, my name is Jack and I am studying Economics and Politics at the University of Exeter having achieved A* in economics at A level, as well as an A in Geography.
Coming from a state school in South West London, I understand that teachers often do not have time to go through key concepts with students individually due to the larger class sizes. I believe this is where I can make a difference, by developing student’s essay techniques for both Geography and Economics and targeting weaker topics systematically.
I had multiple tutors myself whilst learning at school, so I have experienced first-hand the ways that the right tutor can help a student to learn and remember important topics, allowing them to gain confidence and excel in school.
My main hobby outside of academics is skiing, having taken a gap year to become a Ski instructor in Verbier, Switzerland for 6 months. I also intend to join the Snowsports society at Exeter.
Hi! My name is Shayan and I am a second year medical student at Imperial College London. I recently completed the International Baccalaureate, achieving 7s in higher level biology, chemistry and maths (equivalent to 3 A*s at A levels), as well as having achieved a 7 in Spanish, and 6s in standard level economics and English literature.
Obtaining these grades taught me that academic success isn’t about working endlessly, but is about understanding concepts, working strategically and building confidence.
As a tutor, I am confident in my ability to be able to break down complex ideas into understandable chunks of information, adapting to each student and making difficult subjects seem less intimidating.
Additionally, I want students to feel comfortable admitting when they don’t understand something, and so present my lessons with a cordial and welcoming environment.
I aim to enable students to eventually work on challenging problems on their own by improving their confidence and understanding over time.
I also greatly enjoy cooking and playing sports such as waterpolo to switch off from academics.
